A perfect week: Togean Islands, Sulawesi, Indonesia

Had an amazing week!  I have finally experienced living in a bungalow on a beach with golden sand, clear water,warm water (29 degrees!)....it was everything I had always hoped for.  Although it was a bit of a mission to get there.  over 3 days we took buses, boats, bemo's.  Bit it was worth it.  We got our bungalow for half the usual price because there weren't many guests.  The price included three meals a day and these were delicious.  Fresh fish, rice and vegetables. So so good!  For 7 days I snorkeled (I have never seen so many fish with such bright colours AND the coral!) in the morning and then in the afternoon sat on the veranda (looking out on the ocean) and read books, lay in the hammock, went snorkeling just off the beach and watching stunning sunsets.  It was just the week off I needed to recharge the batteries.











Long story, but loved the Chinese waving cats!
