It's been a while..

..since I last wrote.  So much as happened!
 
The last email update was from Flores, Indonesia.  Since then:
* have visited Sulawesi and Java in Indonesia;
* spent 4 weeks in Malaysia (including Borneo);
* and now just having a short break in Bangkok getting a visa for India. 
 
Sulawesi in Indonesia was so long ago, but it was one of the highlights my time in Indonesia.  The architecture and culture was a contrast from the rest of our time in Indonesia.  There are photos from Indonesia on Nav's website (the Sulawesi and Java ones start from 25 May):

So from Indonesia it was off to Malaysia.  Not on the original plan of places to go but ended up spending an enjoyable month there.  Malaysia photos:

Especially enjoyed going to Sarawak (Malaysia Borneo) and spending time in the National Parks.  I didn't think it was possible to sweat so much (OK, probably more information than you needed!).  The high temperatures, combined with the high humidity made walking along the jungle trails all that much harder.
 
Off to India we go to make the most of being in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas.  There is only few months each year that the roads are open and when trekking is open.  So we will be in northern India for August and September.
